That's Boskovich's old phone number on the piece. A few years after we hung it at the landing of our stairwell, one of our sons, who was about 11 at the time, was looking at it, and said it made him want to call up Boskovich. So he did, and the two of them had a nice chat. Boskovich later told us that our son was the first person to respond to the work like that.
